Microsoft Teams Channels Specifications

There are several channel types in Microsoft Teams. We're going to detail every one and mention if we support DailyBot in each channel type.

Standard

Inside Standard, there are two options: Regardless of whether the "automatically show this channel in everyone's channel list" setting is enabled or disabled, DailyBot is supported.

Standard with setting OFF

Standard with setting ON

Shared

Inside Shared, there are two options: When the "share this channel with everyone on the team" setting is ON, DailyBot is supported. However, when this setting is OFF, MS Teams doesn't support Apps, and consequently, DailyBot will not function within the channel.

Right now, this channel type doesn’t appear in the list of the channels available in the web app.
