Renaming DailyBot in your Slack workspace

Learn how to change the DailyBot's name to something else of your choice for your Slack workspace in 5 simple steps.

1. Navigate to DailyBot's app page in the Slack App Directory (note: if you’re a member of multiple Slack teams, make sure that my.slack.com redirects to the correct domain).

2. Navigate to Configuration settings.
   
   
   

3. From there click on the Edit box under Bot User.

4. Update the name to what ever fits your team's needs and preferences > click Save changes.
   

✏️Note: In order to change your bot's name, you'll need a workspace owner role or be the authorized member who added DailyBot to that particular workspace.
