Whether you completed your onboarding, but haven’t invited anyone to your organization yet, or you just want to bring some new faces to your team, you’re in the right place.
Invite teammates from Google Chat to your DailyBot organization by following one the routes provided here.
-
If you just finished onboarding, but didn’t have the chance to invite your teammates properly, now’s the time to do so. Go to ‘Home’ and select “Bring your team on board” to add new members to the organization.
(Keep in mind that this option will only appear for the first two weeks after you signed up, but you can always click on the "Quick Actions" (⊕) icon at the sidebar to see the option "Invite members", too)
If you've clicked “Bring your team on board”, a new modal window like this will open. You can use the text box to invite teammates from Google Chat, provided that both the person you want to invite and DailyBot are both in the same room. Alternatively, share the link at the bottom of this window with your teammates: this is a direct link so each one of them can configure their own accounts.
-
You can also use the option “Create teams and manage members” to sort your teams and invite new people.
Start by creating a new team. In this window, you can only see existing members, so if you’re looking to add some people outside DailyBot to this new team, keep reading.
Once you fill in the name of the team and select existing members if any, you’ll get confirmation that your team was successfully created.
Now you can invite new people to your team. Click the icon with a human silhouette and a plus sign to manage all the members of a specific team. In this case, we’re going to add new people to our ‘General’ team, so we click on the icon to get the full list of members.
If your account is still new and you haven’t brought any people along, your screen is going to look like this:
In this section, you can invite people by adding their email address to the search bar. You’ll get a notice that says ‘User not found’ and under that, you’ll see a button that says “Send invite by email”.
As DailyBot uses your Google workspace domain for authentication, the domain from the email(s) you look for must be supported by your organization. If you want to support a different domain than your main one, you must contact support@dailybot.com.
