How can I use a command or shortcut?

Besides the predefined chat commands we built into DailyBot to help you manage your organization, you can create your own chat commands (also called shortcuts) to bring new information to the chat on demand.

Okay. I created one on the web app. How can I use it?

Like every other else! Go to the chatbot and start a chat with DailyBot –use private messages or a public channel– and type your command (we're using Slack as an example here):

For instance, if you create a command named “design specs”, go to your chat platform and type @dailybot design specs or design specs if you're in a private message with DailyBot. That's it!
