For Slack users, DailyBot requires permission for channels in order to be able to post daily reports in those channels.
However, these channels always have to be configured on the Dashboard. DailyBot will not join/send messages to channels that were not previously configured.
DailyBot does not collect/store information from public/private channels; the permission is only used to get calls to commands (via @dailybot handle) or to post reports.
DailyBot requires permission to contact members in order to do private daily check-ins. DailyBot does not have access to other private conversations from users, only the questions related to DailyBot's activity.
