Why does DailyBot ask for permissions for channels and members?

For Slack, Discord, Google Chat, and Microsoft Teams users, DailyBot requires permission for channels to post daily reports in those channels. It's essential to configure these channels on the Dashboard beforehand, as DailyBot will not join or send messages to channels that haven't been previously set up.

It's important to clarify that DailyBot does not collect or store information from public or private channels. The channel permission is solely used to receive calls to commands (via @dailybot handle) or to post reports.

Additionally, for private daily check-ins, DailyBot requires permission to contact members. Importantly, DailyBot does not have access to other private conversations from users; it only engages with questions related to DailyBot's activity.
