If you want to temporarily turn on/off the bot, simply type enable/disable from a private message with DailyBot and that should do the trick. If you're looking for something else, keep on reading.
Disconnect DailyBot
You don't have to disconnect DailyBot from Google Chat if you want to temporarily disable it for any season.
If you want to disable check-ins for your entire organization you could just go to Check-ins > Manage Check-ins > General Settings in the web app, and turn off "Enable bot automatic questions":
If you still want to remove DailyBot from your organization you can just simple remove the bot from your chat. You can still keep the organization in DailyBot and access reports/history in the Web Dashboard and reconnect the bot as you go.
Reconnect DailyBot
If you are experiencing issues, like if DailyBot is not contacting any of your users, or you just noticed that it has disappeared from your chat, you can just add him back to your chat using the Google Workspace Marketplace and send him a direct message.
Keep in mind you need to be a "super administrator" on your current Google Workspace (previously G Suite) to install new apps for Google Chat (see: Install Google Workspace Marketplace apps in your domain)
Follow instructions as they fit. If you're getting errors or the bot doesn't reply, please submit a ticket.
