Are you encountering any problems or errors to install DailyBot in your Google Chat workspace? We've prepared a detailed guide that can help you troubleshoot in a few minutes.
- Go to Google Admin Console > go to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace > Google Chat
- Scroll down until you see Chat apps access settings > open that section > turn ON the option Users can install and run Chat apps created by
Once you change these settings, you should be able to install DailyBot and interact with him in an individual level - However, if you have problems to add him in a specific space, you'll also need to do this:
- In the Google Admin Console move to the Google Workspace Marketplace apps > Settings > Ideally turn ON the option Allow users to install and run any app from the Marketplace
- In case you have any restrictions to enable the first option, turn ON the option Allow users to install and run only selected apps from the Marketplace
- To make that work, move to the Apps list menu > Allowlisted Apps > click the blue text ALLOWLISTAPP
- This will open a window where you can search DailyBot > click the blue text SELECT
- Make sure to select the option Allow users to install this app > click the blue button CONTINUE
- Select who can install the bot > click the blue button FINISH
- Finally, you'll see DailyBot as an allowed app in your Google Workspace:
That's it! Now you should be able to interact with DailyBot within the chat platform.
