Transform your tasks with automated processes using generative content creation. DailyBot's AI workflows have two key components:
-
Content on Demand:
- Create social media posts, work emails, memos, and more automatically and on-demand.
- Outsource content creation tasks efficiently, achieving milestones with less effort.
-
Customizable Workflows:
- Tailor workflows to your specific needs using AI-generated content.
- Process DailyBot form responses with AI workflows to summarize information, send memos, or create content for ads and social media.
⚠️ Notice: Before proceeding, it's recommended to learn about Workflows. Start with "Workflows 101: Basic Concepts" for a better understanding.
Setup your first workflow with AI
1. Visit the web app > Settings > Features > DailyBot+ AI
2. Make sure the option "Enable AI for organization-wide workflows" is ON
3. Go to Automation & Add-Ons in the sidebar
4. Select Workflows > Create Workflow in the top-right menu
5. Name your workflow and select when it should be triggered. In this example, we will use "When user reports a blocker" to create a workflow that gives you ideas on how to solve the blockers you've put in your stand-up for the day.
6. Now the part we came here for: Select Generate content with AI
7. Write a prompt giving the AI instructions on what type of content to generate. Keep in mind the result of this text will be automatically saved in a variable called "{{prev_step.ai_response}}" that you can use in later steps to:
- Send the message as is to your chat (DMs and channels included)
- Add the text to a larger message
- Send the text via email
- Save the generated text in a form
It's up to you!
8. Now we need to send our generated text through one of our communication channels. In this case, we want DailyBot to send the suggestions to each individual that completes a blocker in their stand-up, right after they've filled out their check-in that day. So we're going to select Send a chat message as our next step:
9. In the message field, add the variable that returns the message the AI gave you in the previous step to send that message through the chat.
- In our example, we want to sound rather casual, so we're adding a bit of text before the variable to transition toward the suggestions.
- And about where to send this: In this case, we want to send suggestions only to people who fill out blockers in their stand-ups that day. And since we triggered this workflow when a user reports a blocker, I selected "The user who caused this workflow activity to happen" in the dropdown of users involved in this flow as my destination.
10. Save and activate to leave this running immediately. You've created your first workflow with the help of AI!
